Kevingzw has a review of the FLC 8S IEM on Head-Fi. As I mentioned in the preamble of another review, these are a hybrid 2-BA 1-dynamic driver IEM. The interesting difference with other hybrids is that it is tunable with 36 different configurations.
Pros: Unbelievable Coherence, Distinct Airiness, Endless Customization/Tunable Options, Lightweight and Solid Construction, Aluminium Carrying Case
Cons: Tuning Ports/Filters are fragile, Tedious Tuning
A review of the FLC 8S by d marc0 is now on Head-Fi. This appears to be an incredibly customizable IEM with apparently 36 tunable configurations. Head over and see how you can tune this single dynamic and dual BA driver IEM.
Pros: Tunable with 36 sound variations, comfortable fit, good sound performance
Cons: short cable, tiny-easy to lose parts
Review of the FLC 8S
Nmatheis has a review on Head-Fi of the FLC 8S customizable IEM. The 8S is another in the growing BA/Dynamic Drive segment of hybrid IEMs. NMatheis really liked the 8S
Pros: High-quality, highly-customizable sound. Small. Ergonomic. Built well. Detachable cables.
Cons: Microphonics. Overly tight cinch. Limited tip choices. Very small tuning filters.
